The NGLCC will be connecting LGBT business owners and corporate executives in an educational seminar and reception in San Juan on Feb. 26 at the Hilton Caribe. The event, which is the first LGBT supplier diversity seminar in Puerto Rico, is presented by Merck & Co, along with the NGLCC.
“We are delighted to team with Merck in presenting this educational event in Puerto Rico because there are many LGBT business owners who can benefit from taking advantage of certification as an LGBT business,” says Justin Nelson, co-founder and president of NGLCC. “We look forward to bringing our message of inclusion and supplier diversity to a whole new group of LGBT business owners and to corporations that are committed to diversifying their supply chains and have major business interests in the region.”
Seminar attendees from major corporations as well as members of Puerto Rico's LGBT business community will hear from leaders of the NGLCC, Merck & Co. and other corporate executives about the certification process for LGBT business enterprises.
Representatives from corporations with operations in Puerto Rico will learn how they can complete the critical circle of corporate diversity by adding certified LGBT suppliers to corporate supplier diversity programs.
Business owners will discover how certification as an LGBT business enterprise can open doors to increase revenues, grow their business, and enhance connections with corporate America and other LGBT businesses.
