Double Platinum Reaps the Benefits of Certification
Double Platinum is a New York-based marketing firm that helps companies reach out to LGBT consumers. And being co-owned by both a gay man and a lesbian, it innovates where others succumb to cliché.
But when Double Platinum got its NGLCC certification as an LGBT-owned firm, it was able to bring its innovative style to a whole new level after it won a contract to help IBM break into the European LGBT market.

Washington, D.C. design firm OmniStudio, helmed by owner Eileen Kessler, won a contract to rebrand NGLCC sponsor Printing Methods, Inc., a contract that would never have happened if it weren't for a chance meeting of committed LGBT and allied business advocates at a regional NGLCC conference.
Certification Makes Merger Happen
When the owners of two NGLCC-certified office supply companies met at a conference for LGBT business owners, networking turned into much more when both companies merged to form OutSmart. And because they were both certified, each one knew the other was committed to their community and their business.
