The deadline for the NGLCC/Wells Fargo LGBT Business Owner of the Year Award has been extended to Aug. 10, 2009. This award is a fantastic opportunity for you to be recognized nationally by top corporate decision makers, LGBT chamber leaders and your business owner peers for your success as a business owner, your entrepreneurial spirit and your commitment to the community.
The winner will receive a cash grant of $5,000 and will be honored on November 6, 2009, in Washington, D.C. at the NGLCC National Dinner: An Evening of Courage. In addition, all applicants will have the opportunity for their businesses to be featured in the "Business in the Spotlight" section of the NGLCC's homepage and will be invited to a private reception on Capitol Hill in advance of the NGLCC National Dinner. The reception will feature members of Congress, Obama administration representatives, NGLCC leaders, LGBT business owners and corporate allies.
