NGLCC South American Business and Cultural Exchange to Offer Unique Opportunity to Connect With a Top U.S. Trading Partner

This summer LGBT business owners and professionals will have a chance to participate in high-level meetings with government officials, industry leaders, importers, distributors and end-users of goods and services from one of the top U.S. trading partners in South America.

The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce® (NGLCC) is organizing its first South American Business and Cultural Exchange in Argentina, which is scheduled for July 20 to 27. NGLCC has partnered with The Accomplished Traveler, an NGLCC certified supplier, to deliver an amazing event with much benefit to participants.

Designed to open doors for international collaboration and business development opportunities with one of the top U.S. trading partners in South America, the event will give attendees the opportunity to participate in high-level meetings with decision makers with an eye on exporting goods and services to South America.

The United States is Argentina's second largest trading partner, with nearly $10 billion in trade between the two countries in 2009, and more than $13 billion in 2008.

Attendees will meet with political leaders and key industry contacts in the telecommunications, technology, consumer products, travel, food service, marketing and professional consulting services, who will speak to business owners and professionals about market opportunities within Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for LGBT business owners and professionals to build and expand their global network," said NGLCC co-founder and president, Justin Nelson. Nelson noted that the Exchange has been endorsed by both the city government of Buenos Aires and the federal government of Argentina. "We are honored to partner with our friends in Argentina to make the Exchange a reality and a meaningful experience for all involved," Nelson said.

Attendees will also participate in the second annual GNetwork360/AGLCC International Forum of LGBT Business People and Entrepreneurs in Buenos Aires.

In addition, participants will take advantage of cultural activities and other events designed to connect American and Argentinean business leaders. While in Mendoza-Argentina's wine country and a burgeoning destination for LGBT travel-the NGLCC will co-host an educational seminar designed to share best practices and case studies about LGBT travel, meetings and international trade opportunities. Exchange participants will also have a private river cruise on the famed Tigre Delta and experience tango lessons and a tango show at the world renowned Rojo Tango.

Attendees will fly roundtrip on LAN Airlines, an NGLCC corporate partner and the leading South American airline, and stay at the beautiful Legado Mitico for the Buenos Aires portion of the trip. While in Mendoza, Exchange attendees with stay at the Park Hyatt Mendoza.
