Paul Brown joined the team as Certification Associate in March 2011 as a part of the NGLCC's mission to expand its Supplier Diversity Initiative. Paul works directly with NGLCC's Certified Suppliers and engages in outreach to potential Suppliers.

Prior to working for the NGLCC, Paul was the AmeriCorp member at the Arab American Institute (AAI). In his tenure there, he acted as Cultural Outreach Specialist, organizing events for Arab Americans to get involved with their communities and participating in talks to educate the public about Arab culture. In early 2010 he represented AAI, a Census Information Center, as a Census spokesperson, joining other Civil Rights organizations in encouraging higher minority participation in the decennial Census.

Paul received his Bachelor degree in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona in Tucson. While still a student, he worked with Derechos Humanos, a human rights organization, to monitor instances of racial profiling in South Tucson.
