Sam is a longtime leader in the LGBT business movement. Prior to her appointment as Director of Affiliate Relations with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber, she served as the national chair of the NGLCC's Council of Chambers and Business Organizations (CCBO), a leadership and advisory group composed of representatives from state and local LGBT affiliate chambers. Sam also serves as the Executive Director of Quorum, the Twin Cities GLBT and Allied Business Community, recognized as the NGLCC's 2009 Chamber of the Year. Sam also works with the University of Minnesota's Department of Equity and Diversity as a member of the President's Intercultural Advisory Council. Driven by entrepreneurial spirit and passion for community and economic development, she is a passionate advocate for the GLBT Community and a champion of Business Equality.
