NGLCC Promotes Two; Adds Two New Members to the Team
NGLCC is proud to announce the organization has promoted two team members to Vice President. Joanna Dees, who most recently served as Director of Corporate Relations, has been promoted to Vice President of Global Programs and Corporate Relations and will focus on the newly launched NGLCC Global division. NGLCC has also promoted Sam McClure from her position of Director of Affiliate Relations and External Affairs to Vice President of Affiliate Relations and External Affairs, including an increased role in the organization's policy and advocacy initiatives.
"Joanna and Sam are amazing leaders and incredibly passionate about their work on behalf of LGBT and allied businesses, corporate partners, and our state, local and international chamber affiliates," said NGLCC Co-Founder and President Justin Nelson. "They are both key members of our leadership team and I know we will continue to see great things from each of them."
NGLCC is also excited to announce the addition of two new team members. Hannah Sheffield has assumed the role of Office Manager in the NGLCC's Washington, DC headquarters. Sheffield had previously served as a programs and operations fellow with the organization. "We are excited to welcome Hannah in her new fulltime role on the team. She is smart, talented, and has the right attitude to be successful in her new position," said NGLCC Co-Founder and CEO Chance Mitchell.
Also joining the team is Shayne Garder in the new position of Finance and Grants Coordinator. Gardner will work primarily as a part of the newly launched NGLCC Global division. "Shayne's experience and enthusiasm for the work we are doing as a part of NGLCC Global will be a very valuable part of our mission as we expand our work connecting LGBT business owners around the world with opportunities for growth and development," said Dees.
