About the Council of Chambers and Business Organizations (CCBO)
The NGLCC Council of Chambers and Business Organizations is a mechanism for the exchange of thoughts, knowledge and ideas to promote and encourage open dialogue, coordination and cooperation between local LGBT chambers of commerce, business organizations and the NGLCC. The CCBO faciliates specific dialogue to address the goals, challenges, and successes faced by each represented organization, while brainstorming various methods of support. By working together via the CCBO, represented organizations expand economic opportunities and the advancement of the LGBT business community on Capitol Hill, Wall Street and down Main Street USA. By acting as an advisory body to the NGLCC, and facilitating sectional programming at the NGLCC National Business and Leadership Conference, the CCBO ensures that the voices from business communities from across the country are heard, translated to and understood by all the various levels of leadership and elected officials working together for the advancement of the LGBT business community.
