Vince Trombetta manages Business Direct Marketing Support Services at Wells Fargo, a team that supports database marketing and direct channel management to deliver financial products and services to the Small Business segment. The team is responsible for developing effective targeting, marketing analytics, campaign development & execution, as well as managing phone sales operations and vendor management to support new acquisition and cross-sell. Trombetta has over 19 years experience in the Financial Services industry and has managed many areas and functions including strategic planning, financial planning & analysis, financial systems, operations, and sales & marketing support. He joined Wells Fargo in 1998, and has since worked in the Consumer Credit Group, Business Direct and the Small Business Segment.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Trombetta worked in credit card services, mortgage lending, and commercial insurance for companies including Citibank, the Travelers Property Casualty Insurance, and Maryland National Bank (former parent of MBNA). In addition, Trombetta spent some years at a smaller regional community bank where he developed insights into retail, distribution and fulfillment. He began his career as a production coordinator in advertising before making the move to financial services. Trombetta holds a Master of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Loyola College. A native of Maryland and former resident of Florida, Trombetta moved to California and the Bay Area in 1997. He participates in several fund raising efforts supporting the LGBT community including San Francisco Stop Aids Project and GLAAD.
