Patricia Vivado
Past NGLCC Board Chair and Immediate Board Member

Patricia Vivado served as the inaugural chair of the board of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce from 2003 to 2006. Increasing the equality of LGBT people in the workplace is a passion for Tricia and the NGLCC’s mission and vision blend nicely with that passion.

Ms. Vivado brought over 9 years of full- and part-time experience to her role in Diversity & Inclusion at Lehman Brothers, with responsibility for diversity communication and marketing, overseeing several of the Firm’s employee networks, liaising with external organizations and serving as chief administrative officer for the growing global department. She served on the steering committee of Lehman Brothers Gay & Lesbian Network (LBGLN), the Firm’s LGBT employee network.

Prior to working full time in Diversity she spent 10 years working in Finance, Operations and Operational Risk Management for Structured Products in Investment Banking at JPMorgan Chase. Simultaneously she held a leadership position as co-chair of PRIDE, the LGBT employee networking group there where one of her objectives was to increase the participation of women. She also worked to enlist many senior managers and develop their support for firm LGBT-related activities. In 2004, Ms. Vivado was honored by the Empire State Pride Agenda with an Equality at Work award.

Ms. Vivado holds BAs in Psychology and Dramatic Art from the University of California, Davis and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University.

She lives in Manhattan with her partner of 16 years and their 6 year old daughter.
