Katarina Semmes

As an Associate of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Supplier Diversity Initiative, Katarina works with the many processes that constitute the exclusive certification program for LGBT-owned business enterprice certification (LGBTBE). Katarina is responsible for developing relationships with potentially certifiable and certified businesses that can benefit from the NGLCC's LGBT Supplier Diversity Initiative. In addition, Katarina is an Associate with the LGBTRES Real Estate Certification Program working to train and to certify real estate sales associates in order to assist them in maximizing the potential of the LGBT real estate market.

Prior to joining the NGLCC team, Katarina obtained her B.A. from Florida State University in International Affairs with minors in Spanish and Comparative Religions in 1995. Katarina holds an Associate Broker license in the District of Columbia and is a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). She has worked in real estate in DC since 2001. In her spare time, Katarina enjoys studying foreign languages (Spanish, French and Italian), cooking, shopping, spending time with friends and traveling. Katarina resides in Dupont Circle in Washington, DC.
