About NGLCC

Mission

The NGLCC is committed to forming a broad-based coalition, representative of the various interests of LGBT owned and friendly businesses, professionals, and students of business for the purpose of promoting economic growth and prosperity of its members.

Policies and Priorities

As a national umbrella organization, the NGLCC is a clearinghouse of ideas and information for and between businesses and organizations. The NGLCC works with state and local chambers and business groups on various issues. Most importantly, the NGLCC is the premier advocate on behalf of LGBT owned businesses, professionals, students of business, and corporations that share in our desire to expand the community's financial opportunities, economic growth, continued innovation, and equality.

The NGLCC is dedicated to seeking input from its members in developing policies and setting priorities. From the Board of Directors to the committees, councils and task forces, the NGLCC is committed to diverse leadership

Committees and Task Forces

Comprised of NGLCC members, committees will be charged with identifying issues of importance to the organization and aiding in development of strategic plans for addressing them. Whether it is advocacy in Congress or on Wall Street, education on new and emerging business technologies, employee rights, trade, or other issues of importance to the LGBT business community, NGLCC committees will be active in steering sound policies for implementation.

Finally, task forces will be named from time to time to address specific problems that arise. NGLCC task forces will bring together representatives from both committees and councils to share expertise and ideas in developing recommendations on how to address each particular issue at hand.
