Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addressed our nation’s legacy of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) human rights at the United Nations in Geneva during a speech commemorating Global Human Rights Day. National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce’s (NGLCC) co-founders Justin Nelson and Chance Mitchell were among a select group of LGBT Americans invited to witness the groundbreaking speech.

Today the NGLCC is calling on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) business community to join us in reflecting on the history of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, to remember those who have been lost, and to dedicate ourselves to finding a cure.

NGLCC thanks Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) for his long record of achievement as an outspoken champion of LGBT equality, a pioneer of gay visibility, and an advocate for the prosperity of small businesses nationwide.
