Prior to starting his own business, Terry worked at Hewlett-Packard for over 22 years in a number of positions including engineering, management, and organization development consulting. In 2008, Terry launched his own executive coaching and organizational consulting business where he serves as a catalyst for individuals and organizations to realize their full potential. His expertise includes Leadership Development, Business Planning, Organization Design, Team Development, Innovation and Creativity, Integral Theory, Conflict Management.
Terry has extensive experience working across the globe with mid-level to senior executive and their teams to improve business performance. He also has the theoretical and academic background which enables him to use an evidence based approach to his practice. Terry holds a BS in Materials Science from Rice University, an MA in Organizational Design and Effectiveness from the Fielding Graduate University, and is currently a PhD student studying Human and Organizational Systems at Fielding.
Terry has been a workplace equality advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) employees for over 15 years. He is a certified Out & Equal Building Bridges™ diversity leadership trainer. He is also cofounder of the Out & Equal Rocky Mountain Affiliate. His company is certified with the NGLCC as an LGBT Business Enterprise as part of their Supplier Diversity program.
“I first learned about the LGBTBE certification at the Out and Equal Workplace Summit in Austin, Texas. The Senior Manager of the Supplier Diversity Initiative was giving a workshop and encouraged me to apply as a new start-up. Having the certification has enabled me to register on a number of the corporate purchasing websites of NGLCC’s corporate partners.” Terry has a strong belief that being out in business is an important part of showing PRIDE in the LGBT community.
