NGLCC Praises President Obama’s Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order

 
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Aug. 1, 2014—The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, the business voice of the LGBT community that represents thousands of local LGBT owned business across the U.S., strongly commends President Obama for signing the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order.
 
The executive order will require prospective federal contractors to disclose labor law violations and will give agencies more guidance on how to consider labor violations when awarding federal contracts.

WASHNGTON, D.C.—June 30, 2014—“This is truly a disappointing day because a majority of the Supreme Court justices has made a decision that will hurt our country, hurt businesses and hurt equality.
