As the leadership guiding the NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative, we are pleased you are about to begin the application process to become a certified LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE). This application process is a critical first step in approaching America’s top corporations and other LGBTBEs for contracting opportunities.
The certification process requests important information about your business that must be submitted in a timely manner. This information is mandatory, and is requested to enable an NGLCC Certification Committee to determine the eligibility of your business for certification. By submitting a complete application, you will ensure your application is processed as efficiently as possible. You will also contribute to the integrity of the NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative, which is a testament to the quality of LGBT businesses across America.
Please note that your company has 90 days from the submission of the electronic application to submit mandatory supporting documentation before the application will be purged from the system. In order for an NGLCC Certification Committee to successfully review your application, all of your documentation and site inspection information must be submitted at least 15 business days before the review meeting.
The NGLCC and its staff will work hard to make sure you are aware of all the requirements of certification, but please know that the ultimate responsibility for submission of documentation is yours. In the event you do not submit your application as required, your incomplete application will be reviewed and subsequently denied eligibility for certification by the committee.
