Simonson's Salon and Spa is the only salon and spa to be named as one of America's fastest-growing salons for ten years in a row by "Salon Today" magazine. The first Simonson's opened in 1983 in Anoka. Simonson's was one of the first salons in the U.S. to recognize the movement toward combining salon and spa services in a single synergistic environment. Simonson's second location has expanded three times since opening in Maple Grove in 1995. In 2001, Simonson's opened its third location in Elk River and during the fall of 2002 a fourth location was built in Plymouth featuring an Education Center for corporate sponsored training and events. In summer 2010, the existing Simonson's location in Maple Grove, along with Simonson's corporate offices, will be relocated to the new Lifestyle Commons retail development in Maple Grove.
