NGLCC Signs Historic Marriage Equality Amicus Brief

On March 5, a friend-of-the-court brief was filed urging the Supreme Court to support marriage equality. NGLCC is proud to once again join over 300 other businesses and local chambers in arguing for the economic benefits for marriage equality. The brief contends that, "the burden imposed by inconsistent and discriminatory state laws of having to administer complicated schemes to account for differential treatment of similarly situated employers breeds unnecessary confusion, tension, and diminished employer morale."
