NGLCC Global believes that bringing LGBT entrepreneurs from around the world into our international network can be extremely impactful, not only for a small business owner, but for developing communities at large. In this way, registration as an LGBT supplier not only grows a small business, but can also lead to widespread growth in terms of economic and social development.

Excerpts of speeches delivered by Chance Mitchell and Justin Nelson at the 2014 NGLCC National Dinner. In these excerpts Chance speaks on the importance of economic visibility in shaping global LGBT equality, while Justin shares remarks on the importance of California Assembly Bill 1678 and its place within the larger narrative of LGBT equality, both economically and socially.    

 

NGLCC Global celebrated the launch of its official national affiliate chamber in Mexico, the Mexican Federation of LGBT Entrepreneurs (FME-LGBT), last week from October 23 to 24. The two-day launch event and conference at the Marriott Reforma Hotel in Mexico City was sold out to the public and attended by nearly 150 people from across the country who traveled to the capital to learn about the new chamber and network with fellow entrepreneurs.
