Title / Description

9:00 - 10:00 AM
NGLCC Federal Procurement Fair: Programming
The NGLCC recognizes its role as a business advocate for LGBT-owned businesses and has done a great deal to facilitate business relationships between corporate America and LGBT-owned businesses. In recent years, the NGLCC has sought to expand access to contracts for LGBT-owned businesses by creating opportunities to access federal government procurement purchasers directly.
Supplier, corporate federal procurement professionals, and federal agencies will learn more about what NGLCC has accomplished so far and what can be done to open up federal procurement opportunities and small business development programs to LGBT-owned businesses.
Programming will include the following:
  • Keynote Address from SBA Deputy Associate Administrator Eugene Cornelius, Jr.
U.S. Department of Commerce LGBTBEs and Local Affiliate Chambers
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM NGLCC Federal Procurement Fair: Networking
The 2nd Annual NGLCC Federal Procurement Fair provides a direct opportunity for LGBT-owned business owners to have face-to-face conversations with agency staff responsible for purchasing from small businesses.
The fair helps small business owners navigate the procurement process, including how to find opportunities; how to register as a government contractor; and how to leverage Tier II government procurement opportunities with NGLCC corporate partners.
