The National Business Inclusion Consortium (NBIC) is a coalition of the Nation's leading business organizations representing diverse communities.
Spearheaded by the NGLCC and launched in 2011, the NBIC advocates for the business interests of a diverse range of people, including the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender, ethnic minority, disability, and women-owned business communities, representing a total of over $9 trillion in annual consumer spending power and significant contributions to the marketplace and workplace.
The NBIC encourages parity in cross-segment diversity and inclusion initiatives in corporate America, works to identify areas of collaboration among diverse businesses, and advocates for the advancement of policies that support the growth of diverse-owned companies in both the public and private sectors.
Members of the NBIC include the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Disability:IN, the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA), the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc (USBC), the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAAC), WEConnect International, Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), and the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
NBIC's Best-of-the-Best Awards & Gala
Uniting the nation’s leading business diversity organizations, the Best-of-the-Best event recognizes outstanding achievement in promoting cross-segment diversity and inclusion. Only companies achieving industry-leading results across all diverse segments are eligible to receive the prestigious Best-of-the-Best designation from the National Business Inclusion Consortium.
Taking place annually in Washington, D.C., the Best-of-the-Best event includes a robust day of meetings, roundtables and networking sessions with public and private leaders in the diversity and inclusion space culminating with a black-tie awards gala. Sponsors of the Best-of-the-Best awards will receive access to exclusive dayside programming including a once-a-year opportunity to connect your company’s chief diversity officer with the leaders of the nation’s top business diversity organizations in a candid, cross-segment roundtable discussion.
Additionally, a federal policy roundtable will bring together corporations and small business interests with members of Congress to identify common-sense solutions on key federal policy priorities.
